Sandra Taylor is the president and CEO of Sustainable Business International, a consulting business that assists companies at various stages of environmental sustainability and corporate social responsibility (CSR) practice. Her clients are in the food and beverage sector and consumer products companies.
Sandra has studied wine extensively for many years and completed the French Wine Scholars course in 2010. She is also a graduate of the Wine MBA program at The Bordeaux School of Management in France, a fully accredited international business school that also offers a Masters in Business Administration with a focus on the study of wine cases, finance, supply chain, marketing and corporate strategy, all from the unique perspective of the global wine industry. Her first book, The Business of Sustainable Wine, was published July 2017.
Sandra is a public speaker on wine, notably at Harper’s Wine Vision 2014 in London; the annual International Pinot Noir Celebration (IPNC) in Oregon’s Willamette Valley; and Women in Capital Markets. She is a wine collector and a member of the prestigious Magnum Club, based in Europe, composed of women leaders in the global wine business, who strive to create a useful platform for finding solutions to questions of importance in the wine industry, as well as to support and inspire women in the industry worldwide.
Taylor is the founder of Fine Wine Divas of Washington DC, a learning experience for women wine enthusiasts. She also conducts customized wine tastings, food pairings and educational seminars for business and non-profit organizations.
Sandra has had an extensive executive career in corporate public affairs, environmental sustainability, public relations and communications, as well as government service with the US State Department. She attended Colorado Women’s College, where she majored in French, and Boston University School of Law. Sandra currently resides in Washington, DC.
